Community Impact Through Technology

Since Fall 2023, Web Impact has been where I learned to bridge technical skills with real-world impact. Starting as a member learning React, I grew into Coding Officer mentoring developers, and now as President, I lead student teams delivering free web solutions to local non-profits and small businesses.

Leading Web Impact Forward

As President, I've focused on scaling our impact while supporting developer growth. I introduced dedicated Project Manager roles to support teams working in Agile workflows, helping developers focus on building while PMs handle sprint planning and client coordination. This structural innovation has made our projects more professional and our teams more effective.

I've also spearheaded our web development workshop series, ensuring alignment with the end-to-end process—from client discovery to deployment. By creating a workshop website that documents our curriculum, I've built a resource that will continue teaching long after I graduate. The leadership lesson that matters most? Creating environments where others can learn and grow—the same principle that guides me as a TA.
